Courtney was born in Hattiesburg, MS, and graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master's in Business Administration. She moved to New Orleans, LA in late 2020 where she began her financial career as a paraplanner. Today Courtney is a licensed financial advisor holding the FINRA Series 7 & Series 66 with LPL Financial and the State of Louisiana life insurance license. On October 13, 2022, Courtney also earned The Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (or APMA®) designation. Most recently, in late 2025, Courtney earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, one of the premier designations in the financial services industry.
In her spare time, Courtney enjoys reading, meeting friends for coffee, or traveling with her husband. She and her husband (Matthew) have been married since 2018 and have two dogs (Bailey and Aiden).
